Friday RUSH-hour

It took us almost four hours to get back to the dojo yesterday, but Rebbe was a Rockstar first class. He sat next to Ashley ( sometimes on top of Ashley) until she left us. He didn't complain when we stopped for coffee or anything.

He spent most of the time looking out the window and occasionally climbed onto the center console to make sure that we knew where we were going.

By the time we got back he was quite ready to use the facilties and began to acclimate to the idea that this is something that we only do in one area of the yard as opposed to every three or four steps and wherever we might feel the urge.

He was qute surprised that we live with chickens, ducks, and cats, which, according to him require rapid and thorough invertigating. He demonstrated to us that he is very good at pulling really really hard as a way of showing us where he wants to go. While he is here, we are going to show him a few other ways of doing that.
So far, he is just getting acclimated to his new surroundings and meeting the other dogs. Today we had a quiet tour of the premises and a light walk on the trail to see how he is when he is on his own.

He's a sweet guy. We like him.

Tomorrow is a big day...
